Question AR-FX7 on AR-M237 Only "Waiting" On Sending Faxes

We have an AR-M237 with the AR-FX7 fax on it that when sending faxes it will queue up in the job list, however it just sits there indicating "Waiting" and never sends. I have looked at the Default Sending Mode and set it to Memory, yet it still "waits"? Any ideas on how to resolve? Thanks in advance!

Have you set speaker to on so you can hear what's happening? Such as is it dialing? Is the receiving line answering? Does a handshake occur?

If you're getting a good dial tone when the speaker key is on, try sending the fax manually. You might also want to clear image date memory with 66-10.

So, MANUALLY we do get a dial tone and can dial out, however it never initiates the data transfer, just sits there saying "WAITING" in the job queue.

    We have done the following:
    1) Replaced the Battery
    2) Performed 66-02 (fax soft switch reset to U.S.A.)
    3) Performed 66-10 (which after 10 minutes still is "Executing"
    4) Removed Extra AR-MM9 Fax RAM and performed 66-10 AGAIN (still will not complete)
    5) Used the Alligator Clips on the 2 Left Board PINS to clear the SRAM Procedure (SUCCESSFUL)
    6) Reran 66-02 and 66-10 (66-10 still fails to complete only "Executing" forever!)

THIS ALL STARTED WITH THE F6-10 error but we replaced the battery and after the above CAN MANUALLY successfully get a dial tone and even dial OUT OR INTO the fax from the outside, IT JUST NEVER STARTS THE HANDSHAKE!

    Please Help!???

Haven't seen this particular issue but have had to replace a lot of these boards after an F6-10 code. Not just the fax module part but both boards.

    Good luck.
