    MX 5111 sucking cyan developer

We have a MX 5111 that has sucked the cyan developer at least 6 time. About every 3 weeks or so. Whats been done. New dv unit, drum unit, both transfer belts, and the HV pwb all to no avail. Any one else seen this or have a suggestion? Thanks in advance.

Change the cyan process unit out. You may be able to rebuild it but that may not fix it permanently.

You have any luck with this? Dealing with a MX-4100n and its eating up the cyan also replaced C Y M DV's in April. cyan was gone by June replaced again, gone today 7-7-15? I also replace all the drums back when i changed the DV's in April.

Yes I did. I ended up putting in the updated charge block and springs.

    Hi
we find using mx5140 type dev units solves solve this problem.
you can use new black dev unit from mx5140 but change the base cover from your cyan unit.

then set up using sharp calibration procedure (clean optics and I'd sensor before setup)

If I try this method do I then use MX-4100n DV or use the MX-5140 DV?

The mx 5111 (5112 in the UK) uses the same dev as the mx 5140.

the dev to use is MX-51GVBA

also so fit a new drum and MK kit
    MX-510MK

You are just wasting time replacing dv unit. Ive been there. It will do it again. The plastic block has been changed by Sharp due to high voltage bleed through.
