Sharp AR 5420

Hello everyone?

I am trying to install as a usb scanner driver for Sharp AR5420in windows xp computer but i have searched in Sharp website with no luck of the driver.

Also i do not have the original cd of the driver?

Does anyone have a clue where i can find scanner driver ( twain ) driver ?

Please help ..

You can not find driver because this machine is only copier.

The copier has a USB connection and i have connected to the computer and it prints fine..

So you probably don't have original pwb in machine. Check on sharp-cee website - it is only copier. If you can print you can try with drivers for AR203 -that's similar /same machine (if I have good memory &#128515

Thanks Ivan i have checked in Sharp website and also i have installed ar203 drivers and the machine works fine as a printer but i need as a scanner.

I though that the machine works ok as a printer why not as a scanner that is why i posted this thread....

Reading the Brochure it states that only the AR203E is capable of scanning. The AR5420 was copy only. If it has a AR203 PWB to allow usb connection. Does also have the operation pwb. to give you scan button? All things considered it shouldn't scan as it was not intended to scan.
