Sharp MX-M550N chattering or burring noise

Hello everyone, I need help with a noisy Sharp MX-M550n, noise occurs when the drum drive motor is on. Noise stops for few seconds then restarts. The drum rotation is affected as the noise occurs, it sputters also. This copier has 500K on it, drum has 95K on it. The drum drive gears and motor are visually OK. I'm wondering if this model has known issue with noise?

    Thanks!

I've found as the drum lock ages, the grease initially applied to it dries out and starts to cause that chatter. My solution was to lube it up again. This was on the ARM550s though, I never had the MXMs.

This MX-M550n is sitting next to a AR-M620u that has half the clicks at 250K I'm heading back there later today, will lube the drum lock on both, thanks Akitu!

This was on some machines that neared a decade old; just as an aside. I'm not sure as to the life of that grease but these machines were 2m+ copies as well.

These machines had a history of the waste toner auger backing up. Remove plastic tube clean all parts throughly. Even scrapping out the tubes of harden toner. Adj mag angle and replace check to make sure waste toner container isn't full. If so replace toner. Good luck
