IR7086 Black Spots on copy and print

    Hi ,
    I Have an IR7086 .
I am observing some black spots on specific region on the print .
I am also observing that the quantity of the spots are growing also.
I think they are on drum , my technician told me so. When I asked him why they are appering then he told me because of the toner I am using . But I am using the same toner in other copier , Only this copier having the spots.

Pls advice what precautions do I need to take and why the spots are growing the specific region.

From the moment you tell us you are working with non genuine toner, everybody here will advice you to use original toner as first step. Before 2 weeks i used non genuine toner just to try it and i must tell that i had cleaning/quality problems with my ir7105,but i didnt post here only because i new where the problem comes from.Bad toner for sure!Your problem i think can be bad toner related, but did you cleaned laser protection glass? Also check your drum for white spots on it and clean all coronas. If you will fix the problem now will suffer again if you will use non genuine toner.

            YOU ARE RIGHT!
It is like two persons feeding on a poor meal, if one gets affected and the other is not, that does not justify that meal; and of course before going round looking for drugs, you change the meal first.

I always insist on my customers keeping the operating conditions to their optimum before suspecting anything, i,e, genuine toners, genuine parts, quality papers etc. This will save you from frequent failures and prolonged down/ troubleshooting times. Customers will usually not bother about these at places where labor is cheap and time matters less.

However, the disadvantages of non-genuine toner are far from less, all toners emit some amount of ozone when projected to high voltages at the coronas. This amount is controlled to safe levels in case of genuine toners, and nobody knows in case of the opposite. These are just a few examples, but believe it or not, 'CHEAP IS EXPENSIVE'.
