    IRC 5180 No Power up

We recently moved this machine was working fine, now will not boot up. The only things lighting up are the Green main power indicator lamp on the control panel and LED 6 on the main controller. Nothing, no fans or motors turn on. Anyone seen this before?

In ALL copiers the DC controller is where the machine receives it's boot up sequence.
    5180's have 2 DC's DC 1 pcb and DC 2 pcb.
Try swapping out each of these with boards that you know are good.
Guessing you can't get into service mode to check error logs or alarm codes?
If you leave it long enough does it error?

This machine has its BOOTROM and the DDR SDRAM on the main controller. The hard drive writes system software to the DDR SDRAM. The touch panel never lights up so I am not getting started at all? wanted to check for DC voltages but board very hard to access.

I think that all copiers get their boot up sequence from the main controller, is what was meant? no pun intended.

Yeah...sorry...what I MEANT to state was that the Main controller controls the boot sequence but the START signals come from the DC controller.

I got power after pulling out the power supply box and reseating it but then got error code for fax communication error (I think it was e674-0008) Disconnected the fax bd and machine is working. I'm going to try another fax kit.
