Database error : How to reply to a thread. [21-11-18]

1. Logout of CTN (view in guest mode)
2. Select the thread via the normal "Reply With Quote". (Bottom right of the thread page.)
3. Login when prompted by CTN.
4. Type out your message as normal
5. Click "Submit Reply" as normal.
6. Logout (view as guest).

Repeat steps 1..6 for each interactive thread...

Open a two separate browser windows. One window to read/follow the threads in the forum, and the other to reply to the relevant threads.

How to quickly open a second browser window to allow quick reply post.

Internet Explorer:
Right mouse click on current tab.
Select option "Duplicate Tab" or Press "<Ctrl-K>"


FireFox:
Right mouse click on current tab.
Select option "Duplicate Tab" or "Move to a new Window".

You can also drag and drop the current browser tabs to the desktop to open a second browsers instance.
But you must have more than one tab active in the current browser.

The second window/tab allows a person to stay in the current forum without loosing navigation.
You can use the second window to logout and reply to the current interactive thread.
Then close the second window and go back to the first window to continue reading the forum.

I actual surmised that you may have been having CTN withdrawals...
Likewise myself...

I said to my wife last night Copytechnet has been down for 6 days.
She said "I guess you would be having withdrawal symptoms".
Without thinking, I said "yes so true, I long for an intelligent conversation".
My wife look right through me in a far off distance stare, I think that hurt. I meant no malice at all.

Re. Web host.
No I haven't the inclination to set up another web site. My website/web hosting days are over.
I did host a website when computer graphic were just making the internet colourful. That's how long ago it was.

I would like to register an address database of all people on CTN.
In case the world goes into nuclear melt down.
It would have to be done in private to stop phishing bots.

Maybe one day...
