Practice makes perfect
If it ain't broke, don't fix it
A picture is worth a thousand words
If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself
There a few things that I don't like about it. First, there is no cursor, and I cannot click back areas that I've already typed in. Also I cannot add extra returns. If you re-edit the post these things can be done. You cannot cut/paste text within the window. Sorry, I like the old text editor better. Like "Word" it has a mind of its own. If you want to do something wthin it's formatting limits, it's wonderful. If you try to do anything else, you just can't. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

It appears that I can paste text from outside the editor window, but cannot copy or cut text from within the window. An I can only paste to the end of the line of text.
This editor would be great for someone who thinks in an organized way, and can get everything down correctly the first time. That's not me. I have to edit several times before the thoughts start appearing coherent.
Did you change something? My problems I was complaining about have vanished. =^..^=

What browser & OS are you using? I have found a similar issue from Firefox on my Vista Pro laptop (I also have the same issue with Facebook and Firefox on my laptop), but Firefox works fine with both Copytechnet and Facebook from my home & office Desktops (Both Win7).

I've noticed that there is only Reply with Quote. There is no just Reply tab.
hello ..in my opinion we should be do a poll about this new updating subject ..as the useful of our copytechnet by mobile ...but before updates ...our admin can view all opinion before her useful this new WYSIWYG ...
BEST TECHNICIAN . NICE PEOPLE .
I didn't notice it until you pointed it out but your right, that is the way is was a few versions ago if I remember correctly. The regular Reply is at the upper and lower left of the pages (where it has always been). I think the theory is that when you reply you are replying the the entire thread but when you Reply with quote you are replying the the specifically quoted items in a particular post. I'm not saying that it's better or worse like that but it's just my theory. It does not effect us too much here because everyone is defaulted to a "linear" thread view but if you use the old school "threaded view" it throws off the order of the posts, see the picture below for what the threaded view looks like.
I will take a look to see it there is a setting to put the reply button back in the posts.
Threaded view (this can be set in your forum general settings).

Hi! I like the new text editor, but it's really annoying that you can't see the cursor and can't click back to change something.. I've noticed someone else complained about this problem - I use Windows 7, 32 bit and the latest version of Mozilla Firefox.
