Darn you auto-correct! Still having issues with Chrome, but have worked out a temporary work around. (BTW this is regardless of whether I use my work PC or home PC. So it's not the PC.) Work around: Type the message, click submit, get box that says data may be lost and it gives you two options: 1) leave the page or 2) stay on the page. I choose stay on the page, click submit again, and usually my message posts. I use CTRL+C to copy my message just in case. If I choose leave the page the editor comes back up, but my message is gone and there is a note above the box stating my message was 2 characters too short.

that is very odd. Have you tried creating a new account just to see what happens? You might need to get the Administrator involved.

What OS are you using on the two PC's?

    Haven't tried new account.

Work is XP Professional and home is Win7 home 64 bit.

My work around didn't work this time. I tried to post it 3 times and it erased my message each time. I'm posting this from IE.

Google Chrome version 8.0.552.224 at work. Probably newer version at home since I've only had the PC a month.

@prntrfxr - Click the top left button to change the editor to source mode. I had a similar problem before and it's because of the WYSIWYG editor, clicking the top left button of the response page will change it back to source mode, see if that fixes your chat issue.

So you have updated your firmware?....Sorry, could not resist. Damn, I know I have had that problem, and it just went away, and it was on this site, which at the time would have been the only place I would have been leaving messages. I ask my computer guru at work and he seems to think the problem is with the website, and or the program language. No tips for fixing it though.

I've changed the editor to source mode. Hopefully it will work. I have updated everything at home. All my drivers, Windows updates, everything, but I don't know what or how much that has been done at work.

I've not had any issues with mine since switching. Should hopefully resolve your issue.
