I tried both Chrome and FireFox - No dice. I'll pass on Exploiter. I'll just wait till the bugs are worked out.
I use Chrome mainly at work and Firefox mainly at home. I like both but prefer FF.
I use both at all times actually, Chrome for when I'm viewing pictures etc., and want them to load faster, it's generally a little snappier than Firefox in all instances. Firefox is nicer for the casual browsing or things that don't need those "immediate" updates, it's my CTN home.
At home, Firefox is for the wife and Chrome is for me - it's worth noting however I don't use true Google Chrome, I use SRWare Iron. It's based on the Chrome webkit but without all that nasty ActiveX that makes Internet Exploder so terrible and dangerous to use.
All in all, if Chrome based browsers carried the customization options of Firefox I would be in heaven. Incidentally, I don't use "Firefox" Firefox, but rather Firefox "Nightly" it's more for developers but it gets a nightly update, most apps will work just fine and it has the little bugs that regular Firefox happens to get ironed out quite nicely.

I have Firefox beta install one of my laptops, I think it works pretty well. I like all the customization and add-ons that you can do in Firefox it seems to be a little more open then Chrome. For speed, chrome cannot be beat.I have been a Firefox user since I was a teenager. I would trust that browser above many others.
Can't say I disagree with you on any of those points. Beta is somewhat different from the Nightly version, a beta will have updates in chunks per a certain time frame, Nightly is basically one giant beta browser with an update every 24 hours. Opera is actually making a move to become a real serious browser, it's competing with and even beating FF/Chrome in some cases. Mozilla has openly stated they value user privacy, and it's evidenced in Firefox 25 (what ever happened to periodic releases ie. 4.3, 4.4, 4.6 etc? Dumbed down to single numbers because the public couldn't distinguish the difference between 4.3 and 4.4 I assume).

so.... did we ever get an answer to why the Like button disappeared or did this thread just get totally derailed?
But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.
