    Good luck on that.

I've got the parts manual enlarged to 800%, and the part you want is not numbered. It shows up in views of the internal engine parts (5 of 5). Plus, you'd have to remove the side frames, essentially building an MFP from scratch. It's the plastic centerpiece between the bed/transport mounted to the power supply, and the registration assembly. If you could get the part you couldn't afford to install it.

It's time for a MacGuyver (aka "field engineering").
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I gotcha Blackcat.. After a lil research I figured this out. Going to have to try a different "method". Thanks very much. Sorry it took so long this website is going to my junkmail for some reason.

You can also always try the following webiste from HP.

    HP PartSurfer

Make sure you enter in your country / location first then search for the model of machine that you are working on.
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.
