e-Studio 650 , GL-1020 scanning templates slow

Hi,

I'm having an issue with the scanning templates menu screen taking about 1 minute to load each screen while scrolling through. It worked fine until last week when another template was added. (There are 31 total if this matters.) The newly added template was to deleted to see if that would help but it is still slow loading the lists of templates.

Any ideas?

Are you scanning to the shared folder on the controller?
This is the only case where I have seen this issue and there is a huge amount of documents stored in the HDD.

If you are scanning to a network folder, take a look at the save as file settings on the templates and verify that the "Use local folder" soft switch is not on.

No, all the scans are being sent via email. Could there be a temp area on the HDD that has gotten full?

In your case the only way the scan partition can be full is if by any chance one or some of the templates are scanning to both, email and local HDD.

If you can, please check the destination settings for each template. It is easy to forget to uncheck the locar folder destination as it is on by default.
