    Lightbulb Decrease in Developer Material c5540

    Hi every one, we have Toshiba etuido c5540 and facing problem with Decrease in Developer Material Y . we have also changed the material 2nd time and its vanished . also checked the conection of develping unit and the machine body. checked the bsi Notes from the Toshiba all are done before chaning the deve. material.
    any help from your side.

    Did you replace the drum and EPU Kit at the same time. Charge loss will suck all the developer right out of your developing unit. =^..^=
    If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

    Try changing bias blocks that charger contacts in EPU

    This is an ongoing issue on the 5520/5540 series. From the 5520 series forward the dev has been modified 4 times. Problem is more prevelant in low color usage and or low humidity enviroments. Aside from checking all the things mentioned in previous replies, frequently setting the dev mag pole position to +2 helps or cures issue. I highly recomend doing all 4 devs simultaneously. Also I highly recomend using OEM dev if at all possible. These machines are extremely intolerant of sub par supplies.

    We use oem deve. Issue with pole i will check.. Epu kit was not new ,bias connections were also clear as u guys mention above,,, Thanks every one for reply
