    Toshiba e studio 4520 bottom tray unit is not working

    It shows that paper jam when I want to print from bottom tray which is single big tray it shows paper jam but check there is no paper I change whole bottom tray section now the new bottom tray is making sound and already check bottom tray but it is working on other machines what should I do ?

    Is there any paper behind the tray? =^..^=
    If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

    Check the electrical interface for damaged contacts.

    I think the Mad Coachman might be referring to the modular connector for the drawer. A persistent enduser can cram paper into the connector. It can be hard to see the paper bits crammed into the connector.

    If you do find paper bits, turn the MFP Off before fishing around with your dental picks. It's so disappointing to discover the problem, then to blow the LCT controller in the process of fishing out the bits of paper.

    Other possible things to watch for are the plastic alignment pin where the feed unit mates with the rear frame. The rear of the feed unit will be floppy, and the gear drive disengage.

    Another common thing is for the last tech to install the bushings in the LCT drive unit backwards, so the gear drive can disengage. The bushings must be installed from the inside of the drive pack, no the outside. Also check that the wiring has not been damaged, by the clutches spinning and yanking on the wire harness.
