i have a e506 (Red dot), it is very well but there is a troubleshoot when power on or put 0+8, 0+5 i must wait long time (10-15 min).
can i repair this problem? how do i do?

Yes, that's accurate. I've had it take up to 30 minutes for the machine to boot up in 9S mode, to print a couple of reports. It's the nature of the beast. =^..^=Originally Posted by ANOL

update new firmwar to be able to fix that problem? anybody have good new idie?
It's just a slow processor. Update the firmware if you like, but it won't affect the speed. =^..^=

Normal boot time should be 1-2 minutes...
Enter 5C mode the check your ADI HDD, make sure id 05 & C5 is "0" value...
Latest firmware includes fix for HDD defects...
