Toshiba 4511 slow printing

Hi,

I am finding printing to the Toshiba 4511 quite slow. I have installed the printer via the SMB network share it provides.

Is there any way to speed it up? Maybe if i set up a network port and print directly to the network port?

As an example, I am printing a 6 page long 700k PDF that has lots of images in it. It takes several minutes for each page to print.

Set up a TCP/IP port and you should get better results....

i guess the slowing because the kind of files you have printed so try another file
without photos just text or reinstall the driver

i would recommend firmware upgrade and re installation of printer drivers.

Which version of adobe are you using? There were a lot of printing issues with 8.0 that were fixed with 8.1. There is a setting to print as image, try it checked and unchecked and see if it helps. If other applications are working good (word excel ...) then it is in adobe or the file itself. If all apps do the same thing then flash the firmware and reload the correct driver (the driver is compatible with only a certain firmware level)..
