Toshiba e-Studio 280 Fax attenuation adjustment

    Hello

Does anyone know how to enter simulation mode for the fax module on an e-Studio 280 and the simulation number/soft swich to adjust Tx line attenuation?

    Thanks

    Clif

    Hello Spock

Please confirm the simulation for Tx attenuation. I tried 13 - 141 but test showed no difference in attenuation.

    Regards,

I can verify that Mr Spock is giving you the correct information. Be sure to enter the service mode by hold down the 1 and 3 keys while powering on the machine.

If your machine had a different country of origin you might want to check code 701 while you are in there to make sure it is set for Australia (value should be 2).
