    Toshiba e-2330c Green bands

I have a machine that is producing light green bands on the bottom of an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper. I have replaced all the drums and blades ( they were worn anyway) and the transfer belt and transfer blade. Also cleaned anything that looked covered with toner. Has anyone come across a common problem with these machines and streaks? Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance

Well since there's clearly no green toner, perhaps the green you're noticing is the absence of magenta? Print off these test patterns and see what you find:
    Attached Files Attached Files
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

That is a pretty neat test image you have there.
Always on the look out for good test materials.

Going to forward this file off to my technicians

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

I copied the U089 sample set. But I noticed that the 30% fill full page image hides a lot of flaws. If you really want to to see areas of weak fill, 10% to 15% fill shows it better. The color gradations have multiple purposes, but mainly two: 1) certain quality issues present in certain fill rates, i.e.: kyocera developer bias arcing is best seen in 70% to 100% fill. 2) if your enduser says: "my copies look green..." you can see that green-ness and identify it as voids in magenta.

Please feel free to share. I have a USB in my pocket, and on machines that will, I print off the LT sized patterns first. Image quality issues are readily apparent in the first 30 seconds. Only rarely do I have to seek out another test pattern to present the problem. =^..^=

There are others (15% fill) if you're interested: LGR for American paper sizes, and A4 & A3 for the European paper sizes. Basically the same content.

I'm experimenting with an 11% fill page. It may be too light for some of the business quality boxes. The crappy CLX-3175 in my office is blank at 11%. Maybe this page is reserved for the machines with higher capabilities. =^..^=

    Send 'em.
I am on the lookout for stuff as I am still learning what these Toshibas will do...and what their newest ones will not do.
I come from a Ricoh and Konica color background and the big damn expensive Konicas color runs circles around all this new cheap shit but people want the moon

Today I tried out the 11% patterns on a bizhub C1060. I could have gone as low as 7 or 8% on this particular machine. The quality is outstanding. Enjoy:

These are the 15% fill patterns. Still better than most patterns for picking out flaws:

Just wanted to thank you Blackcat for sharing these, I have used in the last few months the 15% test chart and I can say it saved me time with CQ issues, spot on.
