Question Toshiba E-Studio 450

Just brought in to ck a Studio 450. The copier does not com out of "warming up".

What can it be?

First reformat the hard drive with 08 690 select 2. If the reformat gives you a failure message then you will need to replace the hard drive.

If a successful reformat does not correct it, then hold * and 1 while powering on and enter 100. This initializes the fax option if it has one, if it doesn't have one then this might still help.

Short list:
fuser coil
fuser thermistors
fuser control pwb
lgc pwb
toner sensor
toner density sensor
bad/mismatched firmware
bad hard drive
bad memory
bad system pwb
bad lcd panel
any tywrap being tooooooo tight (cut all of them and redo)

That should be enough to get you started for the first 20 minutes or so....

replace hdd hold 3 and clear and power on select 3 then start. then format and flash......have seen memory do this also.....reseat it or replace it
