E-studio 20s

Hi,

I got an E-studio 20s and after I intall the divers from the CD, I run a test page and it prints gibbrish. Is there anything else I need to know about setting this printer up to print on a Windows XP Pro machine.

Thanks

Joe

Are you printing using GDI or does the machine have a network card?
there are 2 different types of driver depending on which way the machine prints, if you use the wrong one you will get jumbled up characters printed out.

The printer has a network card, I connect the printer to the computer via the parallel port and follow the intall instructions and still no go.

if the machine has a network card, why is it connected with a parallel cable? doesn't the customer want to use RJ45 via the NIC? if you are installing the drivers from the disk that belongs to the network card, they will be wrong for the parallel connection ( parallel has a seperate GDI print driver that you have to download & manually install )
