Toshiba 5540c random reboots

Hey all, we're having an issue with a 5540c. The LCD screen locks up and then reboots. It will even reboot while idle.

We changed the hard drive yesterday and it is still rebooting. Any ideas?

Did you check the error log to see if there is a specific error popping up around the time of rebooting. Also I might also check the outlet for correct voltage and then maybe put a meter to the power supply outputs and make sure they are correct.

Long shot, but I had a 756 that was doing unusual things, lockups and sometimes F510 codes. Ended up being something the network was addressing the machine when it should be idle. Begged IT to allow an IP address change, when they finally changed IP address, all the issues went away.
