e 166 3 bar on display

hi there


I replaced with compatible cartridge, when received toner light.

but the machine keep free running and show 3 bar on digit display.

I takes 08-971 changed 1 to 3 but still the same occur.

Please pull me out .

Sounds like the wrong toner cartridge to me. Be sure that T-1640 is on the cartridge.

If that is not the problem, then I am at a loss.

if i'm not mistaken, there should be a small square of card taped to the rear of the cartridge. this covers a circuit board. you have to remove this card. if there's no card / no circuit then the chances are you are using non genuine toner which the machine will reject.

It's not unheard for us that this toner cartridge detection board fails, had a few in a field.

If this sign cause of the unauthorization chip . which way can recover. ?

change new one need be the last thing to do .

Finally,I 've solved this problem . the paddle in cartridge broke apart

where the toner were blocked .
