estudio166 Not Printing From Powersave

Hi All

I have a Toshiba Estudio 166 not printing from Powersave

Computer is running with xp sp2 .

Any pointers in right direction would be great.

Hi,

If Im not make mistake, I think this is the firmware of the machine. I have similiar case like this but in eS163, after I upgrade the firmware with the latest one, can solve the problem.

You are need new firmware, ver 120

Following Toshiba's advice I updated the firmware to the current one
but the fault still remains.

Have since been told by Toshiba that "Estudio 166 is not designed to print from power save at this time" something to do with it being a basic gdi printer which is a load of crap .

I pointed out that the Estudo 120 (which is a sharp) does it .

They had no answer.
