    Toshiba e studio 355 Help installing a new HDD

    hello I would like to ask how to install a new HDD in the studio 355 since the old one was broken. When I installed the new HDD all it says is cannot start application. Sorry if my english is bad.

    you will need the: Firmware for the machine.. any "music/video" files and the service manual for the proper procedure.

    The new HDD is now installed and working but Now it gives me F110 which tells me its the scanner but whenever I try to install the firmware it just fails

    The best advice that I can give you is to get the service manual, then read the section about Precautions When Replacing HDD. Clearly you haven't read that part. =^..^=
    If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
