Ricoh tech needing help with 3505AC

I ordered one of these in to take a look at before I signed on the dotted line to become a Toshiba dealer. It is a lease return with 56K on color and 75k on B/W. If it was a Ricoh I would know exactly what to do but not on a Toshiba. I have the service manual but would like to save some time if I can. What direction should I go with this (attached) image? The left one is the copy BTY. Thanks for your help!

Look into the Automatic Gamma adjustment in your "Image Quality Adjustment: Copying" section of your manual.

My Toshiba training ended with the 2500C/3500C models, but I'm sure the process hasn't changed THAT much.

    Good luck.

I have no manuals for this model also. Generally speaking guitar9199 is right, do Image Quality Control then Calibration. You may also check here:
    http://business.toshiba.com/download...maging-v01.pdf

It is an preceding, but very good Imaging manual for older e-Studio 4520C series.

    Go into user functions
    Select admin tab pw 123456
    Run color registration then
Color calibration, pick calibrate and a internal print will print
    Follow prompts

Image units come right out the front. Behind the waste bottle

Why do you say that? I’ve found these units to be pretty good in the field.

There okay I'm just not a big fan. We ordered a couple brand-new and he came in damage right in the box. How to get them replaced. Then the problems I have is with their support and the fyi website it's old and antiquated and out of date compared to the other brands we take care of.
I guess my problem with Toshiba is getting help on the back half when you do have a problem.

I guess I'm very biased because we purchased 10 of them and seven have weird problems and it seems to me that they don't come up with fixes just firmware or software updates.

If you print these pages then scan (or preferably photograph) the results, I can offer an opinion:

    Attached Files Attached Files
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thayer was spot on! I figured it would be something simple for you guys as this would have been for me on a Ricoh. Like all of you, I am crazy busy and just haven't had time to go over the manual yet so again I thank you for saving me that time. I promise I will read the manual this weekend to not waste everyone's time on something as simple as this in the future!!!!
