ok so the machine doesn't see paper in the trays...

what tells the unit that there is paper in the tray?
    (hint** paper sensors in tray)
find the sensors in parts IPB... check for proper movement-clean or replace

Those copiers were known for breaking gears in the tray lift gearbox. Remove the gearbox and try and turn either coupler. If you can't than there are gears or the standoffs that hold the gears could be broken within the gearbox. The gearbox is cream colored and has one connector. It sits in the bottom left corner in the back of the copier.

How to justify the tray up motor is working without any output test?

If insert drawer and tray did not lift up and cannot hear any motor noise, most probably the motor problem...

Is very common for this model where the tray up motor black wire easily broken...

If can hear cracking noise when lifting up, probably some gear or the housing is broken...
