Machine blurrs and smudges intermittent!
Replaced transfer belt and black drum still happens.
It seems trail edge smears with a grey smudge on edge of page . Thanks for any thoughts Jim

I seem to recall the fuser becoming difficult to turn, causing compression blurs and paper jams. Setting the machine to heavy paper media type temporarily allows paper to pass, since it slows the print speed. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Make sure the 4 LEDs are clean. One minute job with a tissue.
Thanks for input ! Yes LED,s are cleaned and as I saisbits inttermitant ! I am leaning towards fuser also like black cat said , I will do as he suggested as a test and change paper media stettings! Thanks again..
The now discontinued e287cs/ e347csl series proved to be very problematic with regards to Service Dept reliability and profitability.
You should be dropping heavy hints to the customer to make plans as soon as possible to upgrade this copier to a new e389cs.
I've seen this quite a few times with that family of machines. It was always the fuser.

That fuser will only go 30K to 60K rather than the 300K its rated for - causes all kinda of jams and quality issues.
the best way to fix anything in that entire series is to toss the machine off the roof of a very large building.
To be fair it is a re branded OKI printer so not entirely Toshiba's fault. I always thought this series was ok apart from being somewhat messy inside and the ADF jam access cover always grinding about mid-life.
No, I will not send you Manuals, Software or your own little repair Genie to fix all your problems for you.
A fun to replace the base plate - where the tray 1 goes in
