You can use the ODFC25 Drums in this model (drums for 40 series)
A lot of Aussie techs use those so they only have to carry one version.

thanks, that's helpful. I'm pretty sure I've worked out the problem, which I shouldn't have overlooked, the foam pads have disintegrated on the cyan and k drum casings, I'll try and get more of those now and fix them.

I can't really tell if it's cyan drum not cleaning or the primary transfer belt not cleaning. The photos do help. You should be able to see this not-cleaning issue without much difficulty on the belt or drum.

Developing is not perfect, but not horrible either. =^..^=

Something just occurred to me. If you're not that familiar with the Masherbrum series you might not know that it isn't easy to align the transfer belt cleaner onto the rear post. The trick is to remove the yellow imaging unit, then shine a flashlight in through the opening. Then you can align the cleaning unit onto the rear post amd front "C" shaped receiver. That can account for a recent transfer belt not cleaning issue.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

thanks for that, yes, I spent some considerable time aligning that cleaning unit onto the rear post, shining a torch up there, I got it in the end. I'm pretty sure those foam pads will be the problem, the cyan drum was a bit messy too, I'll update everything in the near future, although the developer has only done 43000 so should have some life left.

I'll report back when I get those foam pads to say if they fixed it.

Toshiba Tec Japan officially discontinued all technical support, part supply and toner production for this copier on March 02 2019.

Time to put a bullet in the copier and move on.

You may want to pull out the laser unit and check for dust inside the unit.

thanks, I'll try that. The foam pads are all replaced but that didn't fix the problem. The next step is new developer, drum and blade, and I'll look at the laser unit.
