    Toshiba 6550c

    E010 jam

I'm looking to replace C0-15043000 / GP2Y5D91S00F, fuser transport sensor.

I cannot find anywhere, I do not have access to Toshiba direct.

Any help finding would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

Open the right side door. Look on the top of it. You will see a black paper guide with ridges on it. It is held on by three shoulder screws. Remove it and you will see the sensor mounted to a bracket in the middle. Note: Be very careful unplugging the sensor from the harness as it can get quite brittle with age due to the heat coming off of the fuser and can literally disintegrate. If it does crumble then you will also need the harness also. Don't ask me how I know this!

Yeah, it's tempting to use hemostats when pulling that connector ... but you can get too much leverage on the hemostats. If the white plastic parts are distinctly yellowed, you might want to just crush the sensor with pliers and carefully remove the bits. The connector is more likely to survive intact.

I've used this technique successfully on other fuser exit sensors when there was already visible fracture cracks in the connector, and I could already tell it wasn't going to survive. If the sensor is in an advanced state of disintegration it will literally turn to yellow dust before your eyes. =^..^=

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I know where it is on machine......

My issue is I'm not Toshiba dealer, and I can't find sensor from any aftermarket vendors.

Does anyone know where I can buy this sensor?

    TIA
