    firmware 4006

    Hi

We have a Toshiba Estudio 350, firmware have been updated to version 4006, since the upgrade the scan to email function has been disabled, receive a 2c69 error, unable to connect to smtp server, logged in on top access had a look at the smtp client/server setting and all is correct. I had a Toshiba techie here and according to him the scan to email code was not initialized with the 08 start function, unable to get the scan to email code to initialize as this is a new firmware and his handbook is outdated, can anyone help with as to where i can get the firmware 4006 code to initialize the scan to email function

    Regards
    Jan

    350 has a hardware NIC
you just need to reset the NIC
do 08-693 up to 20 times
when you will see a "initialize" button you know is done
    don't foget to save settings

Thanks fro the reply, question, by refering to the NIC i take it you mean the Network Interface Card, i'm able to print to the printer via the network, thus the NIC is working, or should i still try and do the 08-693
