Toshiba 2860

I have a customer that has bought a new toner for their Toshiba 2860 photocopier and it comes up with an error "No Toner".

This is a new cartridge and a techniciain has simply said it is an old copier, buy a new one.

I was kind of hoping there might be a simple solution to overcome the error and get it working again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Cheat front door when it runs toner motor and see if motor works, also may be broken toner motor gear.Check toner cartridge auger by rotating with hand and also make sure it matches drive couplings of the machine.It may be many other things as well, but start with this.

Also make sure it is genuine Toshiba toner. If it is toshiba compatible toner it may not function properly.

I think that you must change the toner , it have 2 or 3 edge the best you used old toner
