Estudio 20 network setup

Hello all,

Ok heres my deal, I have a estudio 20 and I have it networked through a router, but I have no clue how to get the pc's to see it. I've tried installing the drivers off of www.copiers.toshiba.com but while running the setup it looks for the printer on the network but doesn't see it. Im stumped. Also i've tried to connect manually and it asks for user name and password, I've entered 123456, 12345, password, and blank and nothing. So now what?

I'm having the EXACT same problem with a second hand Estudio 3511. Printer isn't found by Windows, and upon trying to connect manually I'm asked for a password and username, but no idea what to enter.

I'd like to know how to connect, and also how to reset/change the appropriate user names and passwords. Thank you very much to anyone who helps.

Also, I'd really appreciate if someone could send me a service handbook and any other available manuals for the 3511. I'd feel bad bothering this forum with every problem I come across and would rather attempt to fix them myself. My email address is m4ps@hotmail.com - thank you in advance!

With the e-Studio 20, you will need to go through your 'Add Printer Wizard'.

1. When asked, select 'Local Printer'
2. Create New Port
3. Standard TCP/IP Port
4. Type in the IP Address of the machine when asked and don't change the port name.
5. Leave the NIC type as generic and change the settings so that the RAW Port number is '10001' - This is the standard port number. Print a NIC Config Page to determine your 'Base Port Number'.
6. Continue through the wizard as normal selecting your driver that you have downloaded. Make sure you also have the driver from the region that you bought the machine from (ie. www.eid.toshiba.com.au for Australia).

As for the Username and Password, if this is through the Web interface, then it is 'Admin' for the username and 'sysadm' for the password. Haven't seen them ask for a username though, usually this is pre-input.

As for the e-Studio 3511, please check your original thread for your answer as someone had replied.
