E Studio 45 error code F-10

I am getting this error code and it doesnt list it in the service manual. There is F-7 and F-11 but no F-10 . Any ideas anyone?

Looks like your hard drive failed. With those models you can just replace it. If you take off the inner tray you can see it buried in the middle under a plate and a board.

you need a small hdd (10-20 Gb) and recovery jigs

F-10 is a easy fix do 08-690 which will probably get the machine running again unless the HD is totally fried. You can replace the hard drive with any hd as long as the firmware version is 17 or higher i think. I usually use the 6GA080wdhdd Western Digital HD but remember to take the jumper out of the HD it is set to cable select from the factory and will have to be set as the master in order for it to work properly. Should not need any recovery jigs for installing HD.
