As there are some special tools (jigs) for this copier they are rarely needed for a typical service call. These jigs include the go/no go gauges for the doctor blade gap, cable clamp in case you need to re-cable the scanner, charger jig for adjusting main charge, lens pins, firmware jigs, etc ... I'd just add these tools to my collection as needed (which may be never).
On the subject of preventative maintenance, there is not special tools required. Here is a list of the KITs required for PMs.
