Estudio 603 Rio Error Code E800

I'm going out to a 603 with an ADF error code tomorrow. The code is E800 as soon as they push start from the doc feeder. Off the glass works fine. I looked the code up and it says the ADF isn't getting it's 24 volts dc. Anyone heard of this? A starting point would be appreciated.

First check the connector that it hasn't come loose. Then check the document feeders open/close switch that it is working properly. Check fuse F6 on the power supply.

It ended up being a bad 24 volt switch in the back right hand corner of the adf. It was only 3 months old.

I had the exact same problem. Same bad switch. Machine was in the field for two weeks. Must be junk switches!

I have had 5 Rio's in the last 4 weeks with Bad switches. E 800 and E 860. All of these machines are a few weeks old.It just goes to show if you have Machines made in China then you can expect poor quality control.I was able to source switches Locally that are Japanese made.
