Did you replace the RAM or just leave it out?
Did you replace the RAM or just leave it out?
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.
I just took out 1 bank out of the 2. It now has 128mb in 1 bank
I think the guy that gave me the machine tried to upgrade and added the extra.
From memory, you need all the RAM slots populated as each stick of RAM performs a different function and it would sound like you have removed the print memory which causes the issue that you are experiencing.
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.
I will try to find an extra stick. Do you know if that is standard PC ram PC133?
Can't remember sorry.
It may look like standard RAM, but sometimes it can be vendor specific.

Thank You TheOwl
Looks like you helped me solve this problem. The guy that owned the machine has swapped the main memory 128mb dimm with the 256mb NVRAM.
Maybe still worth upgrading firmware from T350SS0X300 to T350SY0X4006. If someone can help me out with this Version of firmware it would be appreciated.
Thanks again
Hi everyone,
I'm also attempting to locate the firmware update files to update my toshiba 3511 from T350SY0X200 to something a little newer. Are the files still available anywhere?
Thanks for any help.
I am chasing the firmware for the 3511 myself. I had a hdd problem which I have replaced, initialised and now believe I have to put the firmware on but please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not new to PC's and printers but this is the first time I've tackled a large photocopier. If I knew it was definitely the only problem I'd just pay the Toshiba guy to come out and do it but I don't want to waste the money if there's further problems with the machine.
