Smile Toshiba e-STUDIO 35, cannot change paper size

Hello everyone:

I have a problem with this machine. When a try to change the default paper size on the main panel, that option doesnŽt apperar and just shows an asterisk sign.

Any idea of this, is the first time IŽve got this kinda trouble.

IŽll be awating for answers.

Have a nice day. XD.

In fact it can be done from Mode 08 (actually I can change it) but LG paper size has an asterisk, therefore when I try to make a copy IŽve got jammed paper.

The asterisk simply means that the cassette is reserved for special use. To clear the special use (asterisk) press JOB STATUS, CASSETTE, then at the bottom of the display select NEXT then select your tray on the left, and de-select whatever special designation is highlighted on the right. That's all there is to it and this is in the user's manual.

Pull the drawer all the way out and check for paper stuck in the paper detect sensors.
Sounds simple, but I had a customer pull the drawer out and left a stuck chunk of paper wedged in the leaf spring.

I believe Baphomet is correct.
That particular tray is designated to some special paper type.
