Toshiba eStudio 202L - toner add problem

Have a Toshiba eStudio 202L that after doing a developer setup, it will not stop adding Toner. Did the setup, installed New toner, turn the machine on and it just starts adding toner and never stops. (installed new developer sensor) It sets up and displays the right setting. But when it comes time to restart the copier with the toner, it will not stop.
Help
Thanks

Sounds like either the ATDC sensor or logic board. It is kind of weird that it gets a good reference value, I would suspect it would not get a good value if either of these was bad. Can you run the motor in 03 mode (102) and stop it manually (152)? The refrence value should be between 2.35V and 2.45V and make sure you are letting 05-200 run all the way (it will run for a while with the display showing an enter button, then the enter button will go away for a minute, then when the enter button comes back it will be ready to be bumped up or down (if needed) to get it in the range.) Whole process should take maybe 3-5 minutes max.

edit - Sorry didn't see you aleady replaced the sensor. I suppose it could also be bad developer. The only time I had a bad sensor (on a brand new machine actually out of the box) the value would not change at all and the machine would code out after about 5 minutes of running 05-200.
If you have another machine I would try swapping logic boards.

I'll just make another post this time because I just thought of something. Make sure the auger in the toner isn't broke. If you can pull the white drive coupling off the back the toner is wasted. It would either have been caused by not pulling off the paper from the toner "hole", not shaking the toner and it being very clumped out, or (less likely) defective.
This is probably the first thing I would check now that I think of it and sounds like probably what has happened. Try a new toner, shake it well and pull the paper out. If that doesn't fix it make sure the toner motor runs and stops in 03, then swap out logic boards if you have one.

HTH

Yea, it just keeps adding toner and gets over toned, so I know it is adding toner.

OK, New developer, did Set-up, correct value (2.44), when I press enter to lock it in and turn machine OFF to add toner and back ON to restart, it continues to add toner. Do not want to let it keep adding toner so it will not over-toner and make the drum all BLACK like before. How do I keep it from adding toner so I can make copies? What setting do I change? Is it 0&5, 201? Do I lower or raise? What do I do?

Maybe your toner motor has a short to ground? If not, check all the relevant connectors and swap out logic boards if you have another one around. That is what it sounds like to me.
To answer your question, yes you can use 201 and lower it down to see when it stops adding toner. This probalby will not solve your problem only temporarily.

Did new developer setup and it is still just adding toner and will not stop.

Someone said something about a setting you are suppose to lock in before developer replacement.

HELP

ok kuby
its very simple have to check 03 102 then 152 if the toner motor not stop have to control on logik pwa cn 305 pin A 14 e A15 disconnect them and check they are shortet to ground.IF yes control the harness back to tonermotor for good layout not shortcut to frame.
Another make in 05 201 a value higher then 20 from what you see if it quit to add toner there is a probleme of connection from ATC to this i dont think otherwise it wont change or goes in ajust in 200
Good Luck

Developer I am using is D-2320, 6LA27715000. Is this the correct developer for a Estudio 202L?

Harry's right on checking the short. The only setting you "lock in" is 05-200, you have to hit enter to "lock it in" of course... If you have checked the other stuff I posted and harry posted. Then you will have ruled out bad toner, bad wiring, toner motor working or not, etc... I'd then go with the ATC sensor and then logic board.
