| I have seen several of this series (only) wear out the idle gear on the fuser which is part of the drive train on the fuser which drives the bridge. You can get the same idle gear(s) off a e45 series, 450/2/3 series machine and swap it off a junker or just order the new gear. Check it out, I'd say that's your problem. Eventually the bridge will stop driving and then you'll get jams. Must be a difference in the 281C fuser or bridge causing abnormal wear on this gearset which doesn't occur in the other fusers.
