Lanier 5722 Refuses to Start Completely
I have a tech who changed the developer, drums, and blades in this machine. All went fine. He went to run the post change adjustments and the machine died after it started the hangs on the 05-879, image quality control adjustment. The image for the adjustment was on the transfer belt, but the machine just stopped and now won't startup completely. The fans come on and the control panel displays WAIT. However, he can't get back into service mode and the machine won't go any further than WAIT.
Any ideas what the problem could be?
Thanks.

Check imaging unit connectors - all inside and that goes outside of the unit. Check sensor for IQC. Check humidity sensor.

PS It is Toshiba FC22 - am I right?

You are correct, the machine uses the Toshiba FC22 parts. I'll have him check all the connectors. I went out with him last week and noticed there are 5 LEDs on the main board. I can't find the definition of the 4 of the 5 LEDs in the service manual. The 5th LED appears to be power. Any idea what those other 4 LEDs could indicate? They may be associated with the imagining unit connectors you mentioned in your reply.
Thanks for the quick reply.

Disconnected and reconnected all the connectors. Checked and cleaned the two sensors you mentioned. All seems fine, but this machine refuses to get past that first screen. Can't get back into service mode or anything.

Hmm.
1. What about Power source voltages - check out if all of them are presented and they are in rating.
2. Remove all possible units - fuser, process etc in order to get at least service code.
3. If you can find other machine you can use it as spare parts depot will be easier to check PCBs.

I have seen this. I think you are going to need to reload the fiery software.
