Toshiba MR-3019 DF on e205

I'm having problems with the DF on the 205. The paper doesn't exit all the way out causing a jam. I have to unplug the copier to reset. I've unplugged and plugged all connectors on Df board and it works once with no problem but then it goes back in jam when I try again. Is this a board problem, motor, clutch. Haven't seen this before and it's the only one I have out in the field. Thanks for any direction. Kurt

Exclamation

I just posted a Service Bulletin of the Toshiba MR 3018+3019 ADF regarding jams, at the following link:
StarPrint Copier Service Manuals
click the xpress&fast TAB to get it
(yousendit Link).

p.s. let me know if you have the Service Handbook for it.

Much thanks, Kurt
How about getting into service mode to check error codes or jam history.
Is it best to replace all sensors or just the one that is bad. Kurt

First thing I'd do will be to clean every and each sensor of the ADF with compressed air, 2nd is to check all the sensor flags are ok (no springs missing, no stuck flags etc.)...(one dumb question: are you sure is the ADF jamming and not the machine?, I mean the machine can produce multiple copies using the platen glass?/different cassettes?).

I'd like to know the exact model of the machine you are working on, because this ADF is used on different toshiba machines, so I know which Handbook to send you.

E-studio 205 (looks like the 207) w/MR-3019 w/fax. Copied off glass first and ran fine then went to DF. Jams as it exits out of Df. Lead edge makes it out with about 2 inches of paper that doesn't exit. (if that makes sense). It has about 45k on it. No problems till now. What was weird was the board on the back side of DF. I would unplug and plug back the connectors and get it to work for one copy that was scanned. But that was it. Then back to jamming. This was done with one original. I tried this three times with the same result. This is all done in normal letter (not R). Also, to get it out of jam mode, I had to unplug the copier to reset it. Thanks, again Kurt
