im getting the message close the duplex unit.. it it closed.. what can the problem be?

Theres a small push switch button embedded in the duplex cover on the rear side, sometimes it get popped out of it;s holder.. remove cover, reinstall switch in holder and test.

The switch that gets bend and the duplex unit can't actuate is located in the copier frame right above the imaging unit,(place yourself in front of the machine and open the door as if to install toner, right above this toner-door is the small plastic cover that hides the faulty switch), -change it possible-if not just reform its metallic arm.
