281c close front door

hi all;got a 281c that powers up and goes to ready and copies ok,yet if you open the front door or fuser cover it won't go back to ready after you close it.it just sits at "close front cover" on the display.any ideas?thanks tried a different switch,no luck.

right side iner cover
you may adjust the hight of the door actuator
front cover and side door both push the same sensor
only the side door is adjustable

yea we overrode the actuator by pushing in the piece at the center of the switch that it activates when both doors are closed.also tried a different switch.

what about the microswitch pushed by front cover?
on top of the double pushed sensor

I see a trouble like this a time ago. When power on the copier i had this message Close front cover. Test the switch is ok. I had fixed the cable of the cover switch in correct position under case of toner and my copier work ok since this (many month). I suppose induction in switch cable.
If you had work in this portion of the copier, check if you have replace the cable in the good position.
