Cool dp6570 network controller

I'm trying to set up a dp6570 on a network. I just bought a network card that goes into the left side into what kinda looks like a PCI slot on the machine. I went to the setup screen on the machine and assigned it an IP address, and then tried to add a printer using that same IP on my computer. This didn't work. I got a router and connected both my Laptop and the dp6570 to it and this did not work either. The router is only showing my laptop as the only device connected to it.

Also on the card itself there's two lights where the ethernet cable plugs in. Only the green light comes on, the other light (which I'm assuming is yellow) is neither on nor blinking.

I'm a PC tech and I work on networks a lot but cannot for the life of me figure out why this isn't working. I can only think it's a bad card.

So:

a)Can anyone help me configure this or

b) Does anyone know where I can find another network controller I don't even mind an SC-2 controller.

Thanks
Nate

The first, you must set up the IP address for the copier manual suitable with your network, where you located the machine.

After that, in computer you must set up 02 software: Map and P2P it will help to find the printer in the network

After that, you can setup printer like the other

Thanks for you response Toshiba911.
I had done the first part (assigning an IP to the machine on the machine's menu) But, I don't quite understand what you meant by "set up 02 software" Is this a special software for the machine? I didn't get any kind of software with this machine.
Thanks again,
Nathan
