AR-FN8 / MJ-1006

A customer of mine has a Toshiba DP-6570 with the MJ-1006 finisher, the same as Sharp's AR-FN8. When the customer makes copies while choosing the staple option, sometimes the copies will not stack neatly together before there stapled resulting in an uneven staple job. I'm not too familiar with these finishers so if someone might have some insight or things to look for I'd greatly appreciate it.

Try replacing the 2 feed belts & 4 paddles. If you've never done this before, it will probably take a couple of hours of labor.

It's not too difficult to replace those parts. There is a plastic clip to release on each belt from the inside of the stapling area. Then remove the stapling tray assembly out the left side of the finisher to get to the belts and paddles.

And yes, that will account for pages askew/not under the staple. =^..^=
