Toshiba E Studio 650 Service Code C59

Just put a new tray lift motor in this and did not snap in one of the connectors on one of the boards.. Copier Powered up with the C59 code. I rest all the connectors but I still get the code. I do a 0,8 at power up but the tech mode is only on for a split second before the SC is displayed . How do I reset this code?

This is a Toshiba ES 650, with the Imagistics ZD65 label.

No reset for that code.

according to the service book, C-59 is communication problem between main CPU and laser CPU.

Check all connections between the LGC and PLG Boards.

you might end up having to change one of those two boards.

Thank you. I will double check those connectors between the boards. Perhaps I pulled a wire loose.
