Toshib estudio 35 hard drive
I replaced the hard drive on a e studio 35 not it comes up but stays at please wait warming up. No error codes.
Do I need to do something else?

if it an empty HDD you need to load the firmware
and you need a download jig for that

You may need go to 08 mode and input code 690, select 2 and enter.
This will format HDD and you are ready to go.

I do not have the jig for this copier, cna it be done via serial cable?
Also does anyone have the firmware?

I'ves seen arcing in the trans/sep unit cause machine lockup on warming up with that model.
Just a thought.

Thank you guys foir the suggestions it was the jumper on the new drive.
Set it correctly and did 8-690-2 all set up and going.
No firmware needed.
