Toshiba 4511 with finisher jams

In one Toshiba with multi-staple finisher, jams always when she makes duplex in color mode, or automatic, if the originals have color.
Jams always in the entrance of the KN. but only if it's in color mode. If it in black she works fine.
We change the KN, and test all sensors and nothings wrong.
Someone have some idea? It's only in duplex in color mode, after the paper come out and re-enter to make the back the KN never low the tab for the paper enter in the KN to the finisher.
sorry the English but this today isn't good....

Sounds kinda like a funky firmware issue to me.. paper path for colour or b/w is the same in those machines... its timing is different however... b/w timing is actually tighter due to it's speed... I'd reflash the machine, especially if u've rep'd the kn unit already!

Regards!
A.

no.. it's not a firmware problem.
I would go to power supply..
but I go try first another things, like the logic board.

Replace the exit switch in the fuser and the actuator. If it still does it then replace the solenoid on the front of the kn unit. Also which kn unit and did it always do this? What is the error code?

Has this machine had the rear drive gear/belt mod done as this can cause some weird things?

Could be bridge sensors causing the problem (take the springs off the sensors or replace both).

Whats the jam codes?

Take the finisher off and test it as I dont think this is a finisher prob.
This is not a firmware prob.

I would go down a different path since it only jams on color..the only difference is the amount/kind of toner on the paper. To me it sound like a fuser issue. Is OEM toner being used? I would PM the fuser section and see if jamming inproves. Gummed cleaning rollers cause big headaches in the fuser section. Ed

The error code is E910.
If I take off the finisher, copier work fine. This only give that error when is color with duplex and with the finisher on.
Is not the fuser, because I change the fuser for one new from another machine and the problem continues.
And almost of sensors and switches were tested in 03 mode, and all are working fine.
I go try some of your ideas.
Thanks

Replace the bridge sensors and check the reverse/exit motor.

I don't know if you understand me.. but the paper don't enter in the brige..
the problem is the GUIDE-ENTRANCE (part nš 6LA95427000), don't fall in time to the paper enter in the bridge. but only in color mode, in black work fine. and he is working, but is less than 1 second late.
