    what is the file server that mfp is trying to log onto the local client?

    I entered the l/p for that into topaccess??
    Try This.......

    Plug printer using a RJ45 cable.
    Better using directly without using switch or Router.

    Go to user function ------ admin of your printer.
    Type admin password.
    Go to network settings.Go to iPv4
    Click on static
    Enter 192.168.10.3
    Subnet 255.255.255.0
    Default Gateway 0.0.0.0
    Click ok
    Save settings


    Go to settings of your Ethernet adapter
    Go to ipv4
    Enter ip 192.168.10.1
    Subnet 255.255.255.0
    Gateway - Leave blank
    save.

    Go to C:/----Users------Public-------Pictures
    Create a folder.
    Name it as Toshiba E Studio 232 Scanned Files

    Go to Internet explorer
    Clear cache
    Type 192.168.10.3
    Go to admin
    Enter password - default 123456, user name default Admin
    Go to Save as file

    Under destination click on 2nd option.

    Under Remote 1
    Protocol - SMB
    Path - \\192.168.10.1\Users\Public\Pictures\Toshiba E Studio 232 Scanned Files
    Login user name - your windows Logging ID
    Password - windows admin password

    Save.

    try now.

    Scan a doc to file on your printer.

    Refresh windows folder Toshiba E Studio 232 Scanned Files on PC.

    you are advised to update the firmware of the machine initializing the data sys nic and if I am not mistaken the latest version of this firmware is ver. 370
