Name change Toshiba 3511

Hello, I was wondering if someone can tell me how to change the name on my 3511. The default name every time I scan to email it says "HR Toshiba". I accessed the admin settings via my computer but there is no option to change it.

After logging in as admin it's under the E-mail link, also change the one under Internet Fax so you can e-mail at the same time as faxing...

If it still wont change, look at the host name in Top access/Admin/network/smb

I just found it somewhere else. I went to Network, SMB and changed the Net Bios name and it worked. Everytime I would scan, on the subject it would aways have the name HR Toshiba instead of my company.

I also have another question. Can I fax to a regular fax via the network or do I need the fax board to do that. Also, if I buy the fax board, do I just install it or do i need any other program or reset the copier?

It's always need the fax board to send fax's.
It's not necessary another program, you only need to activate the code of your country and the fax board in the machine. And of course if you want to send fax via pc, install the drive (of the fax) in the computers...

Do you know what the program is called that will allow you to fax from the computer? this machine came with Client 1 and cliend 2.

It's just a fax driver, should have come with the Fax board, or you can go to Toshiba's web site and download the latest versions of drivers there. Only 1 CD and it contains the fax drivers. It might be an ISO file so have some software that can burn an ISO image. Unlike some manufactures, Toshiba's drivers usually are matched with a firmware level on the MFP. I don't recommend using the latest drivers if the MFP is not current. Ed

I just installed the fax board and it works good. I can send and receive faxes with my toshiba copier. Do you know if I can send faxes with my computer through the toshiba copier?
